It's now 1.42am and I finally get to sit back and relax, especially in the comfort of my bed. *ahhhhhh*
Started first day of work today - waitressing at a buffet restaurant. It's really effing hard work man! I knew it would be really tiring, so I guess since I expected it to be tough, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Despite the hard work, very very very sore legs and blisters on my feet, I'm really really happy. First time I'm actually earning money with my own efforts and bare hands. And it's coz of this job too that I get to stay in UK for longer. =)
At the beginning, it was quite screwed up man. I wasn't told of anything, what to do, where to put things, where to get things etc. The minute I arrived, I was told to change and got to work straight after I've changed into their uniform. I was only told to clear up empty plates on the table whenever I see some in that section. The next thing I knew, I was told to clean and set up table #2. I thought to myself: "WTF!?!?!?! Tables everywhere! Which one!? =.=" I guess they saw my confused expression, and a guy was kind enough and asked me to follow him. So then I knew where the table numberings started. It's logical how'd the numbers will go. But my section's numbering screwed up man. One table can be #16; but the one next to it can 62A! WTF!!!??? LOL! I wasn't able to clean up a few tables I was told to just coz I couldn't find them! HAHAHA! =.= After observing and doing stuff myself, I kinda got into the mode. I was fast at cleaning up tables and clearing plates etc. James told me to be really hardworking, and so I did. I was so hardworking until people there were like: "Ok girl! Don't have to be that hardworking. Chill!" Looool. The staff there can be really serious and strict while working, but they were really jokes after. When shift was over, everyone just sat down together and ate. I got to know more of them then. Everyone was really jokes!
Before work today, James and I went shopping. Guess what we bought???? He bought me pets at long last!!!! Wheeeeeee~~ I've always wanted a hamster. First time owning pets since almost 10 years ago. I had two dogs when I was living in my old house. They were called Mickey and Minnie. James wanted to name them Mickey and Minnie too, but unfortunately the hamsters are all females, so he thought of Minnie and Tinny. I didn't like them. They were nameless until some friends came over and noticed that one really likes going on the wheel, and the other one seems like it really wants to escape. Hence, one of my friends came up with the names Marathon and Ninja respectively. Haha! The 2 names didn't seem too feminine, so James and I adapted them to Mara and Nina. =)=) Ima re-think it now though, coz it seems like Nina really likes staying in the tunnel. Might just name her Tuna instead. LOL!

- Our shopping trolley.
- Hamsters that we were looking at. They're soooo cute and tiny! Do you see their "house" at the back of the pic? At first we thought there were only 3 of them. But when the staff lifted the house up to let us have a look at the hamsters, there were like 8 of the piled up on top of each other! 8 in that small hole!!!! SO CUTE!!!

- In the process of setting their new home.
I guess, in short, what I'm saying is that I feel like everything's falling into place bit by bit. I have a bf who loves me dearly; I have a job (at long last!) so that I can support myself without using my parents money (eventually); I'm not doing too bad with my studies; I am enjoying my life. =)
