S-T-R-E-S-S
First of all........... HAPPY NATIONAL DAY! BRUNEI YAKIN!!! =P
Secondly........ HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! It's good being a Chinese somehow. People only get one new year, but we get 2 new years! Two chances to start afresh and wipe out whatever we've not done right in the past; two new year resolutions. Lol! We get second chances really, which I believe everyone should have. But don't be too greedy people, no third chances! =P
Valentine's Day was the best I've ever had this year. James and I went to London for the weekend. We had dinner at Melati - a Malaysian/Indonesian restaurant - on Saturday night. I was surprised that he would even take me to a Malaysian restaurant in the first place. Really sweet of him. I felt like I was back home in Brunei coz of how the interior of the restaurant was, and of course, the food. Food was quite nice, except the rendang was a little dry and the assam fish was not that nice either. Lool. And I ordered too much, we were both bloated!
After dinner, we went back to the car to exchange gifts. I got a Swarovski charm bracelet with a mini James on it too. I LOVE IT! I had two gifts for him, but sadly, I was only able to give one to him due to an unforeseen argument. =( Anyway, the gift I gave him that I initially thought was a board game, but it is a SEXY card game rather. It's called Fun In Bed. Needn't more to be said. Loool. James got us tickets to The Comedy Store. We then went to watch stand up comedy at 12.00 midnight. It was freaking hilarious! Enjoyed it to pieces!
My second gift was the highlight of our Valentine's I thought, so I wanted to save the best for the last. Guess sometimes, saving the best for last isn't good. I bought 2 heart-shaped flying lanterns since I thought it's a rare occasion to have CNY & Vday together on the same day. I was hoping that we could release them together, perhaps writing our wishes on each of our lanterns (since it was CNY.. make a wish.. write out what our hearts desire.. my point about a new start remember?), and to show him how much he has set my heart alight, also to see where our love can take us to........ far far far far away really. Seriously, I cannot describe how sad and hurt I was that I wasn't able to do this. ='( I still am to this day. It would've been the PERFECT vday ever!
And, time for some updates about myself. I've just been busy with studies and work, as usual. I've been working hard, doing my homework and handing them in on time. James has been busy with his assignments too. He's really stressed. However, there's been some drama going on at home recently. A couple recently broke up, and the guy really needs help. Serious help! Like he'll commit suicide any time. This scare only happened last night. James and I both couldn't sleep well. I get woken up when I hear the slightest sound, afraid he'd do something stupid. Sighhhh.. Really don't know what to do! Don't want to live here anymore! =(
