My Return
Ok, so I haven't blogged in a long, long, long, long time. But hey, I'm back! =p
First of all, HAPPY belated VALENTINE'S DAY! Hope all you love birds out there enjoyed your time with your loved ones. And all you single people, it's just another day on the calendar. Spending time with your friends is better than not spending time with anyone at all.
The past few months have been so wonderful! I was back in my hometown (a.k.a. Kuala Belait) for the longest time ever. Had my first CNY celebration in 7 years! And it was great! I felt like a kid once again. Shopping for new clothes before CNY, wearing those new clothes during CNY and receiving red packets with my own bare hands. All the memories of me doing these things were of when I was like 15 years old!
There were things at home that made me really sad at times, but I'm so glad to have my group of friends that I've known since kindergarten! I may not be important to you guys, but I want you guys to know that you mean the world to me! =)
I've been back in UK for a few days now. The weather has been all gloomy and depressing. Not really helping my situation at all. Things haven't been going as well and smoothly as I like them to be over here. Makes me all upset and depressed from the instant I wake up.
Had the randomest dreams of all times last night. I can only vaguely remember 2 random and out-of-nowhere dreams. Hold on a sec. I take it back. I can only remember one and it's about snakes! I googled what it meant, to find that I have things troubling me or people around me have innuendos. :S:S Could it be James? Lol. I better watch out.
Anyway, my point is:
There are constant ups and downs in life. Whatever happens, happens for a reason. And the only outcome is that I will be stronger than before!
SMILE (:

Still feeling the same way
It's either I'm really really homesick or I've just had enough of UK. Counting the years, I have already been in England for 6 years!!!! SIX YEARS!!!! That's a god damn long time. And I am already at the beginning of my 7th year.
To be honest, I am not very happy with my life here in the UK. I've felt this way for a long long time already. The only comfort I have here is James. And I do feel really lonely at times. For one, I don't have many friends here. All my friends are James' friends and no matter what I am "James' girlfriend" to them, and always will be. Unlike to the LMLs, I can be the real me, talk like the real me and be as lame as I want and have everyone laugh together coz that's precisely the whole point - having fun with each other! I don't get these kind of relationships here, and it's really sad. And also, instead of getting a job back in Brunei, I am spending my parents' money to study abroad. The guilt and pressure in me keeps piling up each day. I need to get a job here so I can support myself. But at the same time I am also studying, I don't think I can pull off both together. =(=(
Having said all these though, one thing about me, my motto in life is to SMILE :). No matter what happens, just put a smile on your face. I know it's easier said than done. But every time something comes up to beat you down, instead of complaining why the whole world is against you, wouldn't it be a better time spent if you spent time thinking on the bright side of things to make yourself smile? And in turn, use this smile to face whatever problems lie in front of you.
This attitude towards life has helped me through a lot of tough patches in life. I know a friend that has been going through a rough time. So I want to share this with not only him, but all my friends so that they won't forget to smile.
Life's tough. All we can do is try our best. =D
